Simultaneous Interpretation

The method of choice for all bilingual and multilingual events where delivery is needed without loss of time, such as press conferences, presentations, seminars, and congresses. For simultaneous interpretation, a separate technical equipment is required, which transmits the original speech into the interpreters´ booths. The interpreters listen and speak at the same time, their delivery being transmitted via infrared to the headphones of the conference participants. The number of languages interpreted is only limited by the space in the conference room, as an own booth is required for each language. Participants can select on the receiver the language they wish to hear, so nobody is disturbed by the other languages not needed.
